Divine Service for 7/20/14; Guest Pastor Bagnell’s sermon from Matthew 13 and Jesus’ parable of the wheat and the weeds. The devil (e.g. the weeds) is real and there are those who will not go to heaven. Don’t be confused. Our righteousness comes from Christ and He will not allow baptized believers to perish. It’s a troubling reality that the wheat must live amongst the weeds. However judgment day is coming and the weeds will be gathered up and burned.
